i.Establishing the Vision
Before drawings advance and decisions multiply, we take time to understand how the homeowner hopes to live.
How the family gathers. How the land will be experienced. What should feel intimate, expansive, quiet, or enduring.
These priorities become a shared reference point throughout the project—helping the team evaluate decisions not only by what is possible, but by what is right for the home and the people it will serve.
ii.Assembling the Team
The right home begins with the right people. We help identify, evaluate, and engage the architect, builder, interior designer, and specialty consultants best suited to the vision and to the land.
Scopes are defined, responsibilities are clarified, and expectations are aligned before the work begins—so each member of the team enters with a shared understanding of the home they are creating together.
iii.Creating Clarity
Complex projects generate an extraordinary amount of information.
We organize that information, identify what requires attention, and bring decisions forward with the context necessary to make them well.
Rather than placing every question before the homeowner, we work with the project team to resolve what can be resolved, clarify what cannot, and distinguish between the routine and the consequential.
The homeowner is never removed from the process. They are protected from its unnecessary weight.

We establish clear responsibilities, decision timelines, project milestones, and communication rhythms so the work can advance without compromising care.

The original idea for a home can be most vulnerable during the transition from drawings to construction.
We remain connected to the architectural and design vision throughout the process, helping the team identify gaps, resolve conflicts, document decisions, and maintain alignment between intention and execution.
As practical realities emerge, we help preserve what is essential. Not every detail carries equal weight. Our work is to recognize the ones that do.
vii.Supporting the Work of the Guild
The Design Guild brings together the creative and technical expertise required to create homes worthy of Wyelea.
We support that work by creating the conditions in which each member can contribute at the highest level. Clear communication. Timely decisions. Defined responsibilities. Respect for each discipline. Accountability to the shared vision.
Our role is not to stand between the homeowner and the Guild, but to strengthen the relationship between them.
viii.Remaining Present Through Construction
During construction, we serve as a consistent point of connection for the homeowner and the greater project team.
We coordinate meetings, document decisions, monitor milestones, review financial activity, track open items, and visit the site at meaningful stages of the work.
Challenges are addressed with context. Questions are resolved with continuity. And the homeowner remains informed without being asked to personally carry the day-to-day responsibility of keeping the project moving.
ix.Completing the Transition
A home is not complete when construction ends. It is complete when the family can begin living there with confidence.
We guide the final stages of the project through quality review, punch-list management, systems orientation, documentation, warranty coordination, and the transition from construction site to home.
Every remaining detail is considered in service of what comes next. Life there.
